Festivities in Châteauneuf du Pape
Here are the unmissable events in Châteauneuf du Pape that you might want to attend:
- Les Printemps de Châteauneuf du Pape : Wine fair gathering more than 85 winegrowers of the appellation → April Saint Mark’s Day: Winegrowers’ Festival with wine competition → on April 25
- Festival Off – Les Murs : Some of the shows of the Avignon Off Festival are relocated in the village → July
- Fête de la Véraison: Medieval festival with extras and shows in the streets of the village → 1st week end in August
- Le Ban des Vendanges: A celebration marking the beginning of the harvest in Châteauneuf du Pape → September
- L’Echansonnerie des Papes: This is the wine brotherhood of Châteauneuf du Pape, composed of “Echansons”. There are two great councils per year, one in June and one in December. New members are inducted who are given the keys to our cellars and become ambassadors of Châteauneuf du Pape → June and December
- The Christmas Market: 3 days in December when the village dresses up in its festive clothes. Sale of local products and other regional products from places labeled “Remarkable Sites of Taste” → December
